An experience like that makes a course worthwhile.
I was out on my bike the other day and stopped when I saw movement in the grass verge. I spent a few minutes watching a stoat working the verge. It came to an end when he came out through the grass by my ankle and startled himself into turning tail.
A chance encounter that is making me think a tracking course could cause more of them with less chance involved.
