Hehe - made me smile. Every off-roader's been there!
Wish list:
Winch
Stakes and a sledge hammer (in case of lack to trees), strap and rope
Sand channels

Mr P Joint the club!!!
It goes without saying that if you go off-road, at some point you will get bogged down! better to do it when help is no to far away, We had a situation a month or so ago when we had a Disco & Trailer bogged and tried a tandam pull with my Landy and a Ford Ranger, every thing in low and diff but still didn't get out!! In the end we had to unload the trailer (Hi-lift jack wouldn't fit under trailer it was that far in!) and then just got enough purchase to ease everyone out! Like all your 4x4 tips, here's a couple more, You need to let the tyres down almost by a half to get any decent extra footprint and it helps if you have mud tyres, especialy with clay! and finaly, put a winch or your wish list, I've had one on mine for 3yrs!!

Regards
