New DD Travel Hammock and DD Tarp – First Look

I’m going to be totally lazy and just put up the DD Travel Hammock and DD Tarp reviews as videos.

Don’t forget these haven’t been field tested yet, but all indications are that DDHammocks have gone out of their way to satisfy customer requirements after feedback on previous version of their products; so well done for that. I think these new products deserve a thumbs up for quality, price and flexibility.

Have a look and see what you think.

I’m away for 5 days tracking in Devon so if you leave a question, please be patient until my return or contact DDHammocks direct.

See you soon.

Pablo.

    Hello sir,
I myself i just bought dd hammock and tarp from sandbag47 from the group buy and was wandering, if you do find the Black webbings provided with the hammock is a bit short at 3m 20″ eachfrom one end to the next. Do you think it needs modifications with longer webbings?

Hi Pablo, another couple of great reviews there.
Nice to hear you laughing when the stick snapped. :-)
Oh, what size is the tarp, I dont think you mentioned that.!!
    :-)

    Hi Hans
I hope Pablo does not mind me sticking my 2 penny worth in here! I have replaced the standard tapes on my hammock with 5 meters of climbing tape on either end. This stuff is incredibly strong (I am not the lightest person you will meet)and it gives you the option for trees slightly further apart or with a large width. Bothe attach to carabiners, as per one of Pablo’s earlier posts.
    Cheers.
I truest the tracking went well Pablo?
