Trail Cams

Woodlife Trails has a number of trail cams we use for our work and on courses.

Here is some footage we have taken. We will put together movies of projects and upload them to this page when we can.

Current Field Project: None at the moment.

All our trail cams are supplied by…

A recent ‘job’ to remove fallow deer from an active airfield. The hole was baited just outside the fence and, over a period of time, the fallow left via the hole. The trail cam was used to check on progress. Tracking confirmed that all had exited.

Here’s a video taken from 2 trailcams placed over 3 months from March to May 2011 to try and capture badgers and cubs. It’s a very awkward sett to watch, but the trailcams eventually came up trumps.

Footage of badgers and cubs from a trailcam placed by a course participant on one of our courses. Join us for Tracking, Bushcraft and Natural History courses.
